Bake With Me's Baking Club is the first of it's kind here in Tauranga (and maybe even New Zealand!). It's designed for children in Years 4-8 who would love a fun after school activity to be a part of but perhaps after school music or sports isn't their thing. It's also great for parents who would love to encourage their children to bake, but don't want to clean up the mess!

Each week, students will learn the basics of baking from scratch and various cake decorating skills. They'll learn how to work as part of a small team and most importantly, they'll have a fun time getting hands-on in the kitchen baking something delicious. 

 

Some examples of things we’ve made in the past:

 

*Salted caramel brownies

*Cupcakes with fondant decorations

*Savoury brioche and scones

*Under the Sea themed cakes

*Hot cross buns

*Apple pies

*White chocolate cranberry cookies

 

Classes are being held at the Creative Campus which is a part of the Historic Village, 17th Avenue. At this stage, Baking Club is on a Tuesday afternoon from 3.30-5pm but due to the huge amount of interest we receive, we'll possible be adding extra classes as time goes on.

Intakes for students will only be at the beginning of each term, and numbers will be strictly limited.
